Are you a meticulous and experienced Pensions Administrator seeking a challenging role in the heart of London?
We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our client, providing critical day-to-day administration and communication services for their scheme members. This role demands precision, up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation, and a proactive approach to ensure the smooth functioning of our pension schemes.
- Perform day-to-day administration for active, deferred, and pensioner schemes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards
- Handle various administration tasks including AVCs, new joiners, opt-outs, executive support, data maintenance, transfers, retirements, and death-related processes
- Provide efficient support and accurate information to members through various channels (phone, online, in-person) within agreed timelines
- Collaborate with the team to execute scheme events such as Pension Increases and Benefit Statement production
- Manage auto-enrolment processes and assist in resolving member and business queries.
- Develop specialised expertise in areas like divorce implementations and assist in training colleagues
- Stay updated with legislation, HMRC guidelines, scheme rules, and administrative processes
- Prepare and submit HMRC notifications and returns within specified timeframes
- Verify documentation and calculations in line with internal, actuarial, and legal guidance
- Maintain member data accuracy and handle data quality reports effectively
- Contribute to member communications and assist in delivering presentations
- Maintain filing systems and assist the Pensions Management Team as required
**Requirements**:
- Significant experience in both DB and DC pension administration.
- Up-to-date knowledge of pension legislation, HMRC requirements, strong numeracy, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), IT proficiency, self-motivation, and strong teamwork abilities
- Desirable**:Detailed knowledge of PensionsOffice, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.
