**Salary**: £18,000 - £22,000
Location: Sheffield
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

This role could be perfect for a recent graduate looking to start a career in a professional environment (any degree would suffice) or an experienced administrator looking for a career change.
About the business:

Job Purpose:
To facilitate an efficient and effective CMI process for the benefit of all legal practice areas within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:

- Progression of the CMI Workflow Tasks.
- Transparent management of the tasks and collaborative communication with colleagues.
- Respond in a timely fashion to any enquiries raised by staff.
- Undertake research of foreign and UK Companies as and when required.
- Liaise with Electronic Search Account Manager concerning any escalations or issues on Electronic Searches.
- Assist in Database cleansing.
- Provide timely and consistent guidance to users to achieve compliance of the firm's CMI procedures.
- Identify and escalate non-compliant AML issues to the firm's MLRO or a Deputy MLRO liaising with relevant parties as necessary.
- Maintain and update internal guidance materials, internal handbook notes and information on firms intranet.
- Regularly monitor the status of outstanding CMI tasks where queries have been raised to ensure speedy resolution of client due diligence.
- Deliver training to users on the firm's CMI and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the firm's AML procedure and policies, conflict search procedures and CMI process.
- Support the development of a strong compliance culture.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks as and when it may be required by the firm.
- Provide support to other File Opening Team colleagues
