**The role**

Job Title: Stock Controller

Location: Cannock

Reporting To: Stock Manager

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 21:00
- **Please note that in 2024 the Company will be moving to a new purpose-built Distribution Centre in Wolverhampton and therefore the location of this role will be changed when the move takes place.**_

Assisting the Stock Manager to ensure the stock department runs effectively and efficiently, responding to discrepancies quickly and thoroughly.

**Key Responsibilities**

Ø Conducting investigations into stock losses and gains

Ø Performing daily cycle counts

Ø Managing physical stock movements within the warehouse

Ø Oversee pick face management

Ø Playing a crucial role in preparing/conducting our annual stock take.

**Essential Skills and Experience**

Ø Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities

Ø Strong analytical and numerical proficiency

Ø Exceptional attention to detail

Ø Outstanding organizational and investigative abilities

Ø Proficiency in administration, including but not limited to outlook, excel and word

**Desirable Skills and Experience**

Ø Previous experience within a stock control environment
