**Hours: 40 hrs per week**

**Hourly Rate: £10.72**

**Location: Hemlock Way, Cannock**

**Contract: 52 weeks (Maternity Cover)**

**At Newlife, our mission, simply put, is to change the lives of disabled children and their families. We provide access to the vital equipment they rely on, offer information and support through our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, sponsor pioneering medical research into the causes of birth defects and offer families a voice through our campaigns for change.**

We are not like any other charity. All the stock in our stores is new, donated by retailers, allowing us to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.

What we do and how we do it is unique and being a “Newlifer” is very special. Our team members are passionate about what they do and the contribution they make in helping the families we work with.

**The Opportunity**:
This post has the responsibility for the creation of store picks based on the data from the allocation team for all retail stores, E-commerce and involvement in special operational tasks as required.

As a Stock Picker you will provide specific support to the Stock Control Manager/ Stock Allocations Manager by accurately collating and picking the stock that has been allocated to each store in accordance with the picking list issued by the Allocations Manager, ensuring the right stock goes to the right store at the right time.

You will be motivated by results and have the drive for continuous improvement. In return, we can offer the environment for you to be your best and realise your potential. This is an exciting time for the department with many changes being implemented driving improvements to the ways we work.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous warehouse experience or experience in a similar processing environment (Desirable)
- A background that can provide skills relevant to this role, e.g. experience working in retail or a qualification related to fashion
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Good communication skills
