**What you’ll be doing**:

- As part of Functional PP&C Team you will work with PP&C Programme teams to ensure resources, systems and processes are operating efficiently and effectively in line with the define governance
- Representing as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the PP&C processes, procedures and MRP/ERP system
- Developing, Creating and Maintaining all relevant processes and training for Production Planning & Control disciplines
- Collaborating and sharing best practice with local and company-wide peer groups
- Owning and maintaining a robust parts shortage process and escalation process across the site.
- Ensuring a robust and effective MRP cascade is in place throughout the system of work
- Ensure that data integrity and quality is maintained throughout the work order cycle
- Utilising innovation and creativity to solve problems and implement continuous improvement

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**
- Good Knowledge of Production Planning & Control processes
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MRP systems
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Drive to develop and progress your technical and leadership skills
- Understanding the systems of work within BAE

**Desirable**
- APICS / APM qualified or relevant experience
- Manufacturing Build Knowledge

The Production, Planning & Controls Functional team have a bird’s eye view across all Submarine Programmes and involvement in all initiatives. The team is responsible for ensuring that their standards are applied across all programmes and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
