**Job Title**: Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls

**Salary**: Starting from £43,373 depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Providing cost expertise to Control Account Managers, including the submission of short
- and long-term cost forecasts (EAC’s)
- Reviewing Earned Value Management information, analysing project cost and schedule performance and providing a performance narrative
- Reviewing and tracking Schedule, Cost, Commitment, Risk and Opportunities to understand the reported financial position of the project
- Providing Risk expertise to Control Account Managers, ensuring timely recognition, prioritisation and reporting of Risk and Opportunities
- Playing a key role in the establishment of an integrated Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and maintaining this through recognised change control processes (PMBCR)
- Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders across a variety of programme functions including Project Management, Planning, Cost Estimating and Finance
- Leading, Coaching and supporting team members in the delivery of Planning, Monitoring and Control

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Skilled in the use of Microsoft packages (particularly advanced Excel) and SAP
- Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and reporting skills
- Experience leading a team and interacting with multi business functions
- APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent project management experience in Cost controls, EVM, Risk and opportunity

**The Dreadnought Build Project Controls team**:
The team is critical in supporting, collaborating, and providing expertise across the business to Build/Manufacturing and Control account managers, who are in responsible for delivering the scope, cost, and quality of the Dreadnought submarine. This role allows you to work across a variety of functions and gain product knowledge, with lots of potential for growth and advancement within the Dreadnought team.
