Founded in 2020 to manage independent and branded hotels, Brightstar now has 15 hotels in its portfolio. Hotel brands include Holiday Inn, Ibis, Best Western as well as iconic independent hotels.

**Position Overview**:
As a Social Media and Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence and brand visibility of our hotels. You will work closely with the marketing team to implement and execute creative social media and marketing strategies that engage our target audience and drive business growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Social Media Management:

- Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for each hotel in our portfolio.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and guest feedback, responding promptly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.

Content Creation:

- Create visually appealing and compelling content, including graphics, photos, and videos, to showcase the unique features and offerings of each hotel.
- Collaborate with the design team to create promotional materials for social media campaigns.

Community Engagement:

- Foster and grow online communities by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and participating in relevant discussions.
- Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our reach.

Website Content and Digital Marketing:

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, informative, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy.

Ad Hoc Projects:

- Undertake miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success and innovation of the marketing team.
- Stay adaptable to emerging trends and technologies, proposing and implementing new ideas to enhance our digital presence.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Monitor and analyse social media and marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy adjustments.

Hotel marketing experience is preferred, but not mandatory

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
