We have an opportunity for a Parts Inventory Co-Ordinator to join a major manufacturing company that has global reach, on a 12-month contract, based in Stafford.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Accountable for the management of stock inventory contained within the GED department.
- Develop process for new inventory software including documentation.
- Perform material handling and warehousing functions as required.
- Order filling, processing, storing/ picking of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Operate light to heavy equipment such as pallet trucks / movers, FLT's and overhead cranes.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment.
- Compliance with EHS tasks, ensuring adherence with health, safety & environmental standards across site.
- Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments
- Confer with establishment personnel, vendors and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
- Review and approve documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities

About you:
Experience with warehouse management software (IE SAP / EE) and utilising RF hand-held scanners is expected. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated proficiency in mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to use all aspectsof MS Office with ease. Must have previous history of maintaining accurate and complete records.

Mechanical experience on diesel engines, automotive or off-highway mechanical background is desirable but not essential.

Valid RTITB Counterbalance Licence is advantageous.
