**Key Responsibilities**:

- Excellent knowledge of SAP Success Factors and SAP Payroll
- End to End knowledge of UK and Irish Payrolls
- Producing all company monthly reports for general ledger
- Calculate and report on company liability (Class 1A, Class 1B, Pensions liability, NLW/NMW increase etc)
- Working closely with Head of Payroll for continuous business and team improvements
- Providing audit support - internal and external
- Managing all payroll related payments to employees and third-party payments / invoices
- Managing schemes such as Child Care and Cycle to Work, as well as other employee benefits.
- Managing pensions, health care, company cars etc and adapt to company changes
- Completing management reports and associated query handling
- Be the main contact for outside bodies such as HMRC / Courts to ensure compliance
- Day to day management of the team
- Maintaining and improving current processes and procedures
- Performing daily payroll department operations
- Managing workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Understanding taxation
- Processing correct garnishment calculations and compliance
- Processing accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (P60, P11D, PSA etc)
- Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Updating and reconciling monthly bank statements from SAP

**Skills and Experience**:

- Efficient leadership skills, with training and development of direct reports
- Excellent knowledge of SAP Success Factors and SAP Payroll
- Proven previous Payroll management experience is essential
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent customer service and communications skills - both verbal and written
- Excellent knowledge of pensions, benefits, and tax liabilities
- Attention to detail
- Able to work to deadlines
- Effective time management
- Professionalism for integrity of sensitive and confidential data
- Collaborative and supportive of colleagues
- Proven change management experience
- Previous T&A Kronos / UKG knowledge. We are looking to implement T&A system soon
