A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepare service sales and hardware proposals for the Power Protection product group for the UK & Ireland region. In this role, a strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and effective solutions.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Preparing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms.
- Aiding sales colleagues in specifying optimal, cost-effective solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Providing assistance and input in meetings, product presentations and negotiations.
- Answering technical queries from engineering teams and delivering vital information to risk reviews.
- Studying customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams.

**Your background**:

- 1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry, working as internal sales support or technical support with a strong eye for detail, accuracy and commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite of software tools.
- Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
