Jorvik tricycles of York are one of the leading tricycle companies not just in the UK but globally, supplying tricycles throughout the UK and EU but as far afield as Australia ,USA and the Philippines just to name a few. We are continuously developing new ideas and pushing the boundaries of what trikes can do and how they are perceived.
We are looking for an experienced cycle technician to join our ever-growing vibrant young team and help us with our continuous growth.
**We just require a team member to work 1 day per week to carry out builds, repairs, warranty assessments and technical advice.**
**Overtime and extra days may be offered.**
As a York based company the successful applicant will either be working from our York centre showroom or our distribution centre which is located on the outskirts of York at Wheldrake.
With the explosion of the e-bike market over the past years we are now predominantly an e-trike company so experience in this field is essential.
Duties will include
- building tricycles for customer collection/delivery
- warranty work
- customer advice either on the phone, in person or online (computer skills essential)
- liaising with office colleagues
- liaising with customers on collections or in the showroom
- deliveries using company vehicle
- pick and packing trikes and accessories for deliveries
- processing returns
- unloading deliveries
Applicants must be self-motivated, have customer care and satisfaction at the forefront of their mind and willing to work in a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same. Customer interaction skills are also a must.
