**The Company
**Able Bridge Recruitment are thrilled to be working with a SaaS pioneer who are based in Edinburgh City Centre in the recruitment of a financial modeller. This role has been born out of necessity due to the continued growth of the business and theirfuture expansion plans.

The role is currently a stand-alone role, however we are expecting that the post will grow and you will ultimately be accountable for building a division within finance. The role holder will report into one of several high profile heads of finance and willhave exposure to all aspects of the international business.

**The Responsibilities
**The purpose of this role is to work within the financial reporting side of finance and model financial information that will allow the business to successfully forecast where and when capital reserves need to be available for settlements of cash transactions.

**On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be responsible for the following;
**You will be working with heads of departments in both technical and operational areas of the business to fully understand the complexities of what they do.
Review historical information with a view to gaining insight into trends.
Model financial information that will give accurate probabilities of what capital reserves need to resemble to keep the business solvent.
Ensure corporate governance is maintained at all times in relation to audit, compliance and regulatory requirements.

**The Requirements
**We expect the suitable applicant to be either CA or ACCA qualified, however we are open to individuals who are CIMA qualified. The fundamental core skills that are required for this role is the ability to forecast and model large sets of data in toolssuch as Power BI tools as well as Excel to macro level. Applicants will understand SaaS and its functions within the software sector and ideally have worked in the sector historically (or within financial services). The organisation that we are representingoperates within an exceptionally fast paced environment, as such applicants will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to show flexible working competencies as well as the ability to be self-starting, self-motivated and driven.
