This role would be ideal for an Engineering graduate or someone of a technical background who is looking to expand their experience. Full training and continued support and development is given within this progressive company - a true investor in people

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical knowledge with sales skills.

Your clients will usually be technical staff from non-retail organisations, such as factories, workshops, local authorities and hospitals.

The Opportunity...

To ensure your client's and the company’s needs are met working alongside with sales, research and development, services, purchasing, and senior company managers as a team - providing an excellent client experience.
- Sourcing for potential clients
- Client visits
- Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Advising on products/ service
- Calculating quotations
- Negotiating tender and contract terms
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions
- Offering after-sales support services
- Administering client accounts
- Analysing costs and sales
- Analysing customer ROI
- Preparing reports for senior management
- Recording and maintaining client contact data
- coordinating sales projects
- Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Solving client problems
- Helping in the design of custom-made solutions
- Sourcing for potential clients
- Client visits

About You**...**
- Engineering graduate or similar/technical background
- Team working ability
- The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Resilience and tenacity
- A full driving license

Starting salary is £22,000 - £30,000 per annum (£75,000 OTE) Uncapped
