CK Clinical are recruiting for a VP of Clinical Development to join a very successful biotechnology company with products on the market and a strong development pipeline. This will be a hybrid role, with three days a week on-site in Cambridge.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As VP of Clinical Development you will be responsible for the strategy, direction and execution of Clinical Development Plans and be a key member of the R&D leadership team.
**Key duties will include**:

- Leading early clinical strategy and development plans
- Providing vision and leadership to create and execute early clinical trials and development strategies, establishing a clear path to clinical proof of concept
- Interpretation of clinical study data and early exploratory biomarker endpoints
- Providing medical expertise to support in
- and out-licensing, partnering and acquisition activities

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
As VP of Clinical Development you will require:

- A Medical Degree and specialist training in Immunology
- Experience if Rheumatology, Dermatology or Gastroenterology will be preferable
- Extensive early phase clinical development experience, including translational pharmacology, biomarkers and precision medicine
- A strong understanding of FDA/EMA requirements and ICH GCP guidelines
