Job Title: Slinger / Rigger

Location: Rosyth, Dunfermline

FINTEC recruit is seeking Slinger / Rigger for our engineering client based in Fife. Both permanent and contracting opportunities are available.

Working Monday to Thursday, Friday overtime available, enhanced overtime rates and generous allowances and numerous benefits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute lifting operations.
- Contribute to lift plans and adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain lifting equipment following LOLER and company policies.
- Manage materials and equipment to/from Submarine and Dockside boundaries.

**Experience and Qualifications required**
- Hold Certification or proficiency in operating various lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, slings, and other rigging gear, is essential.
- Experience in rigging and lifting operations is crucial. Experience in planning and executing lifting operations, calculating load capacities, and determining proper rigging techniques is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience in calculating load weights and sizes, considering factors like gravity, dynamic loading, and environmental conditions.
- Have knowledge of industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulations related to rigging, lifting, and workplace safety.
