Temporary - Event Logistics Officer

**4-month contract - starting 1st February 2023**

£28k

Hybrid working; 1 day a week in the London Office - may consider fully remote option too

35 hours per week

We are currently looking for an event professional to support a busy period of planning for an overseas 2-day multi activity event. The event will be a mixture of sporting, dining, and an award presentation. This is a prestigious event so sponsors and participantswill expect a high degree of professionalism from the event. The individual taking on this position of Event Logistics Officer will need a high level of accuracy, excellent planning, and communication skills

Key duties;
- Administration tasks in support event logistics
- Coordination of record keeping;
- which will include changes in participants, dietary requirements and all other additional info
- Maintain excellent relationships with, and provide outstanding customer service to, all sponsors, participants and guests.
- Coordinating social media and marketing posts in promotion of events
- Updating the website as directed
- Liaison with participants providing support as directed
- Production of invoices and follow up to ensure payments are received
- Carry out relevant data entry and cross referencing of event data
- Maintain accurate records on inhouse CRM

Knowledge and skills required:

- Events experience
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluency in IT systems Word and Outlook, Excel basic
- Experience updating websites / social media pages
- High standard of communication skills, with effective verbal, written and spoken English
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent time management skills
