**About you**:
Vision, enthusiasm and discernment are essential qualities for this Assistant Principal role. You would be taking on a fantastic opportunity to hold overall responsibility for safeguarding, which is at the heart of the academy’s aims, for the whole community.

**About the role**:
This is a key role at the school with lead responsibility for safeguarding and child protection (including online safety) for all pupils. The Assistant Principal
- Safeguarding will take part in strategy discussions and inter-agency meetings, and contribute to the assessment of children; they will manage a team of our DDSL and Pastoral Leads (trained as DSLs) and make referrals. They will be a visionary pastoral leader and inspiring manager who is robust, flexible, with a strong sense of humour and whose primary motivation is to ensure the very best outcomes for our students.
