Customer Service Executive

Location - In the Vicinity of Manchester Airport.(parking available)

Salary - £21k rising to £22k after 3 mth probationary period with realistic OTE of £26.5k

- Fri rolling rota shift patterns of 8-4/ 9-5/ 10-6 with 1 weekend in 4 work from home (hybrid)

Objective of Role

Connections Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Travel Operations Executive/ Customer Service Executive role for a for a bespoke travel bookings client.

The role is to act as a first point of contact for potential customers, you will be required to possess a professional persona, polite telephone manner with a cheerful personality while dealing with customers worldwide wishing to make reservations for our global airport concierge services.

Primarily you will be taking inbound calls from our customers wishing to make reservations, to obtain quotes or making general enquiries both from corporate clients and individuals. However part of the role will also include liaising with suppliers and finalising any travel plans, outsourcing services and confirming travel arrangements with preferred suppliers.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Receiving service enquires and requests from corporate clients, and the public.
- Accurately price and quote enquiries
- Searching for solutions and options to meet the requirements of such requests, using a range of online resources and liaising with our airport service partners.
- Finalising requests and completing the service bookings as requested.
- Assisting clients and travellers with any service-related enquiry.
- To oversee the daily operation, ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures and other applicable regulatory policies.
- Entering and monitoring all reservations into the in house reservations system, ensuring correct and up[1]to-date information is entered.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge and experience of the airport environment and service standards.
- A desire to provide a high standard of customer service.
- Able to prioritise workloads and the ability to work under pressure in an ever changing, fast paced environment.
- Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative

Any new starters will join the team on a rolling roster pattern and include weekends and bank holidays.

We staff the office Monday to Friday 0800-1800 daily with shifts 0800-1600, 0900-1700, 1000-1800 and 1200-2000. Weekend coverage is between 0900-1700. The weekend shifts may be worked from home,
