Day to day:

- Provide wide ranging, speedy, accurate administrative support to the peoples team
- Communicate company-wide updates / announcements via our platforms
- Monitor and manage key elements of our People service including starters and leaver’s processes, probationary periods and changes to terms and conditions of employment, escalating issues to the Employee Relations Specialist and People Services Manager early in the process when needed
- Update people records, payroll systems and trackers accurately and to a high standard, to ensure a smooth and effective service is provided.
- Taking disciplinary notes and hearings when required
- Work with the team to ensure all processes are clearly allocated and managed by someone in the team, and provide holiday and absence cover for other departments
- Support with note-taking and administration
- Complete administrative tasks associated with any redundancy programmes, TUPE processes and consultation projects

Experience required:

- Strong admin experience 2 years +
- Have great attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Have great communication skills, verbal and written
- Be able to work towards deadlines and deliver
- Previous HR/ Recruitment background is essential is desirable not essential
- Hold a certificate level qualification in HR would be desirable not essential
- Workday and ADP knowledge would be decriable not essential
