**Oxfam Retail Charity - Volunteer - Trainee Lead Volunteer - (Over 18 Only)**

Here at Oxfam, we’re dedicated to fighting poverty and inequality. Our shops would not be able to raise crucial funds for Oxfam’s emergency and development work all over the work without our dedicated volunteers, who provide their time and bring a multitude of skills. In return we offer personal development, valuable insight into charity retail and a friendly environment to meet new people

**No experience is necessary.**

We are open Mondays to Sundays and usually ask for 8 hours per week. On Sundays we ask for 4 hours. We can be flexible around parenting/ caring/ health/ employment / education and any other commitments you have. Some travel and lunch expenses can be covered too. I you have even a couple of hours to give Oxfam then we’d like to hear from you.

**Supervisory training and experience can really improve your CV and career prospects.**

**You will learn about**:

- Opening and closing the shop (Key Holder)
- Daily admin & accounting tasks
- Monitoring performance and training the team
- Understanding sales figures and targets
- Effectively delegating responsibilities
- Maximising the income from donations, Sourced by Oxfam, and Gift Aid

**About You**:

- Honesty, reliability, and commitment
- Hard Working and willingness to learn
- Able to work well in a team
- Willing to be DBS checked

Our shop complies with Covid-19 guidance, and we aim to keep everyone safe with thorough cleaning and welfare procedures. Masks and gloves are provided.
