I am representing a family-owned automotive dealership franchise based in Surrey. They are an established company with more than four decades experience selling new and used cars and motorcycles as well as a wide variety of aftersales services.

Being incredibly passionate about the automotive industry is ideal for the new role of Head of Marketing & CRM. The main focus of this position is to lead their marketing team in growing their influence within the relevant market networks to help meet theoverall business goals. An exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for cars and marketing

You will:

- Responsible for managing, developing, and appraising Marketing & CRM activities and strategies in conjunction with delivering implementation through the operational team.
- Need an in-depth understanding of the Automotive Industry; their future propositions and a detailed grasp of the relevant business processes and systems to produce the underpinning plans and facilitate execution in line with the marketing budget
- Essential knowledge of CRM enquiry management whilst using data and analytics to affect business and customer decision-making.
- Responsible for constant assessment and management of Marketing & CRM - compliance, processes, budgets, and supplier controls.
- Assisting the increasing business demand to comply with GDPR & Regulatory compliance legislation by reporting and process management along with the wider operational team.
- Annual setting and management of Marketing Budgets.
- Supporting delivery of day-to-day cross-functional marketing activities and database management.

What you need to succeed:

- Commercially focused, with extensive marketing & communications experience in the Automotive industry (preferred but not necessary)
- CRM background with strong understanding of CRM strategy design and delivery as well as end to end campaign and process management.
- Demonstrable experience in designing customer acquisition schemes and enhancing customer loyalty aligned with business goals and profitability.
- Experienced at successfully managing teams and individuals at all levels, both directly and cross-functionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceedingly commercially customer focused; future-thinking; results-focused.
