To line manage a small team to drive forward the Adult Social Care Department’s digital and data agenda, by delivering on data quality within our key departmental systems, working collaboratively with our internal and external partners.

We are a relatively new team called Transformation Digital and Partnerships within the Adult Social Care Department, and we are responsible for ICT projects, digital adoption, collaboration with partners, business intelligence and performance, as well as managing and supporting our two largest business systems - Mosaic, (our social care case management system), and CM, (our activity recording and scheduling system).

**What will I be doing?**

You’ll be managing a small team of management information officers.

The team will be responsible for focusing specifically on data quality for Mosaic (our social care case management system) and on Mosaic related Management Information / Business Intelligence / Performance measures and targets.

The roles will support the department in preparing for the 2023 Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection. Once the 2023 inspection has taken place, the post holder will lead on the continuous improvement of operational practices in data inputting into our major systems, training/support of users and liaising with the system suppliers on maintaining well-managed systems.

You will be responsible for developing procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of our department’s data, including producing robust methodologies, to ensure our managers can make effective data driven decisions. You will work closely with internal and external partners, including neighbouring County Councils and the NHS, and will be responsible for documenting lessons learned and disseminating best practice across the team.

**What experience and skills do I need?**

It is expected that you will have experience of leading improvements to data quality, assisting with the development of data quality frameworks, as well as working with large volumes of complex data, problem solving and working quickly with a high attention to detail. You will be self-motivated and decisive, and able to challenge and drive new initiatives forward to maximise results and outcomes for Derbyshire.

It is desirable for this senior role, that you will have knowledge or experience with using some (but not necessarily all), of these technologies; Excel, SQL, SSRS, PowerBI. Alternatively, that you will have knowledge or experience with using business systems or case management systems or other similar systems / software, to design and develop complex forms and workflows.
