Male OR Female Personal Care Assistant/Support Worker required to assist a young man with a Learning Disability living in the Cambuslang area.

Personable, friendly autistic young adult interested in computers, technology, and gaming.

You would be required to provide one to one supervision, support and mentorship during attendance at Glasgow Clyde College - Langside Campus, 50 Prospecthill Rd, Glasgow G42 9LB including participation in social activities.

Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle to and from College - mileage allowance will be paid

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**

Recruiting for one position.

Guaranteed permanent position of 20 hours per week

**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times

Monday 8am - 4pm

Wednesday 8am - 4pm

Thursday 8am - 12pm

Occasional weekends and evenings may be required - to be discussed at interview

**Hourly rate**:
£10.90 per hour (Scottish Living Wage)
