**The job itself**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a Senior Children’s Services Administrator covering Business Support Teams based in Goole & Anlaby.
The role presents a unique opportunity to join an ambitious service in a key role working towards delivering high quality services for children, young people and their families.
The Business Support Team provides additional support to children, young people and families. This may be whole family support, addressing the individual needs of children and young people or providing advice and more general support through telephone or group-based activities. The service is based across the East Riding with teams based in Council Offices, Goole and Anlaby Children Centre.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential as this role is often the first point of contact for parents, professionals and the public.
You will have line management responsibility for administrators based within the Safeguarding Team at Goole & Anlaby.
A high level of customer service is required as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive material. Teamwork plays a vital role as does the ability to meet deadlines and work on your own initiative.
You will be expected to ensure administrative processes are carried out accurately and efficiently by checking, verifying and authorising processes and provide reports on data and information for operational staff.
