Capri Fashion have been designing, supplying and manufacturing some of fashion’s leading brands with high-quality, yet affordable, eyewear since 2017. We oversee the whole process from initial concept, design and development, through to manufacturing.

Here at Capri Fashion Ltd we are looking to recruit a Junior Designer to focus on accessory ranges from design concept to final sign off, working with innovation to continually improve and enhance product.

As Junior Designer, your role responsibilities will include;
Ø Working alongside our creative director, producing concept boards for multiple external brands as well as our in-house brand across both menswear and womenswear.

Ø Designing, developing and executing a specific on-trend product range taking into account requirements for all selling channels

Ø Updating design CAD's via Illustrator.

Ø Attending, and contributing, to the regular departmental creative meetings, suggesting ideas for future trends and providing updates on work activities

Ø Trend research across colour, fabric, trim, shape with innovation

Ø Creation of tech packs

Ø As part of the Product Design Team you will take part in weekly progress update reports and participation in weekly brand meetings.

Ø Working alongside the merchandiser team developing solid working relationships with product factories, fabric suppliers as well as internal and external stakeholders

Ø Commercially aware of current trends and themes, developing the brand and working with production to ensure all products are designed and manufactured in line with the customers’ direction and critical path within sometimes tight deadlines.

Ø InDesign

Ø Photoshop

Ø A keen interest and knowledge in fast fashion

Ø A highly creative and imaginative individual with a constant flow of fresh ideas

Ø Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials is desirable

Ø Graphics design experience would be preferred but not essential.

Ø Excellent admin and organisational skills

Ø Ability to multitask, think pro-actively & creatively

Ø Commercially aware of current trends

Ø Must be a team player with a positive attitude

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
