Finance Assistant

Activus Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our clients team in Inverurie. The role will be working within a fast paced accounts department covering all aspects of sales ledger, invoice and credit entry, updating the systems with cash received, collecting outstanding invoices, analysing and remedying sitting sales credits. Assisting Purchase Ledger with raising invoices and credits as required.
Duties will be to
- Process and review all aspects of the ledger
- Process invoices and credits
- Remedy invoice credits
- Resolve invoice queries
- Posting cash received
- Generating customer statements
- Dealing with and resolving account anomalies
- Assisting with monthly and annual reporting
- Arranging payments via BACs
- Minimum 2 years Sales Ledger Administration experience
- A professional 'willing to help' attitude
- Experience with Sage 200
Previous experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
This is a temporary role for 3-4 months with the possibility of a long-term permanent contract for the right person.
