Glendinning is a 9 bedded, mixed, inpatient mental health rehabilitation unit that support patients with their transition back into the community.
The post holder will facilitate a range of activities that are planned and arranged according to the individual patient need. The post holder will promote the independence of each person and encourage engagement in
meaningful activities.
To provide a high standard of care by assisting with and carrying out a range of duties as directed by the Ward Manager and in line with individual care and treatment plans.
The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values a person’s choice and works alongside them and their families/carers to ensure they are at the centre of care planning.
To enhance the care delivered by the multi-disciplinary team at Glendinning; by selecting, planning, and providing meaningful and therapeutic client centred activities for patients appropriate to their needs and interests both on the unit and in the community with a view to them developing skills and interests that are beneficial to them and can be continued on discharge.
