**About the role**

The Rivers Officer (Citizen Science & Partnerships) will support and develop the River Lea Catchment Partnerships, as well as collaboratively devising and coordinating citizen science initiatives with an initial focus on the River Beane. The postholder will also work alongside the River Catchment Coordinator to raise awareness of Hertfordshire’s chalk rivers and deliver community-based river restoration projects.

This role is hosted by Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust and funded by Thames Water, United Utilities and the Rivers Trust through the Catchment Partnership Support (CaPS) Fund and Catchment Systems Thinking Cooperative (CaSTCo) project.
