SDLMinorfern is looking for a Stock Coordinator to come and join us at our busy distribution centre. We are a respected and growing family business; known in our region as being a reputable and leading motor factor company - and we want you to join us
In this role you would be expected to manage control of stock, movement of stock and replenishment efficiently and be responsible for resolving stock related issues whilst making sure company policies and procedures are adhered to.
**Hours**:
Each working week consists of 45 hours, made up of 5 x 8.5-hour days Monday to Friday. Between the hours of 7.30 and 6.00pm. The 45 hours includes an additional 5 hours on every alternate Saturday in accordance with the rota. You are entitled to a meal break of 30 minutes.

**What will the job involve?**
- Stock Replenishment
- Replenishment from high racking
- Pallet racking Safety
- Pallet racking maintenance including Consolidation of pallets and space creation
- Pallet racking Stock integrity / stock checks
- Processing of Bulk stock from goods into the racking
- Reports into the Stock Control Manager / Branch Manager
- Keep the warehouse clean & tidy.
- Maintain a high level of Health & Safety standards.
- Manual handling skills - this is a physically demanding role
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ownership of all relevant documentation associated with the role
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and processes
- Ad hoc jobs as required.
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Promote and represent the Company positively by providing a proactive customer service based on an understanding of customer demands, their relationship with the organisation and promoting our services.
- Comply with all of the Company’s policies, procedures, and controls relevant to the role in order to mitigate risk to the Company.
- Responsible for own personal and professional development and ensuring attend all required development events appropriate to the role.

- Warehouse experience within the motor factor industry*.
- Bendi Flexi Forklift licence
- Counterbalance / Scissor lift license*
