**What's involved with this role**:
Contract to start on 13-03-23 until 22-09-23 with a possible extension.

**Key Duties**:
1. Details of the services to be carried out:

- Further develop and lead on engagement and comms plan for Oxford United land negotiations.
- Lead tactical communications activity including stakeholder communications (including politicians, local community and pressure groups), updating web content, press releases, media responses, social media posts etc.
- Work with external engagement consultant to scope phase 1 targeted stakeholder engagement, coordinate meetings, prepare briefings and provide an accurate note of each meeting.
- Commission external engagement to deliver phase 2 wider stakeholder engagement including deliberative workshops and survey, support delivery and agree final report
- Deliver campaign activity, working together with the marketing team, to promote participation in phase 2 wide stakeholder engagement (advertising, posters, packaged content etc.)
- Maintain working relations with portfolio holders, senior officers leads and officers in other service areas, including keeping them fully updated
- Attend project meetings, informal cabinet, cabinet, portfolio meetings when needed.
- Maintain positive working relations with colleagues from Oxford United and involve them in comms planning and stakeholder engagement when appropriate.
- Undertake wider communications and engagement activity as required to support the business needs of the council and as directed by head of communications, engagement and marketing.

Flexible implementing Hybrid working pattern

Remote + clients’s office for special engagement events and weekly team meetings

**Salary**: £220.00-£280.00 per day
