An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Communications Officer at the Ineos Oxford Institute for antimicrobial resistance (IOI) based at the University of Oxford. The postholder will be responsible for developing an engagement and delivery plan to engage with researchers working in the field of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) across the University of Oxford.

You will create a compelling narrative about the University’s work in the field of AMR, and promote the impact the University’s research is having to tackle this global health challenge both internally and externally. You will build and maintain successful partnerships and collaborate with colleagues across the IOI and in other divisions and departments including professors, senior academics, junior researchers and administrators.

You will be educated to a postgraduate degree level and have significant experience in a communications and grant coordination role in a scientific setting and have ability to develop strong working relations with senior academics and professional staff. You must have proven ability to engage with researchers at all levels, design and deliver a range of communications and engagement activities and the ability to manage your own workload.

This is a fixed term position available on a full time basis.
