We are seeking a motivated and passionate Sustainability Graduate to support our Head of Energy and Sustainability and the wider team. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to our organisation’s sustainability initiatives while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
**The key duties are-**:
- Conduct research on sustainability best practices, emerging trends, and industry benchmarks to support the development of strategies and initiatives.
- Assist in gathering and analysing data, helping to track and report on GHG emissions and key performance indicators and progress towards sustainability goals.
- Provide support to projects and initiatives, including coordination, communication, and documentation of project activities.
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting engagement efforts and communication-related to sustainability initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials, including presentations, reports, and internal/external messaging.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, organising events, and managing documentation related to sustainability activities.
- Take advantage of opportunities to learn from and collaborate with the team, gaining exposure to various aspects of management and strategy.

- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret and present data effectively.
- Ability to work on own initiative with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Detail orientated Attention to Detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner/
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus (Power BI).
- Previous internship experiences and familiarity with work environment would be desirable.
This role would suit a recent Graduate in Sustainability, Environmental studies or other, related discipline, or someone looking for their next career move. A passion for sustainability and a keen interest in environmental social impact issues.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate skills in how to capture, analyse and present data in areas such as energy usage and opportunities for improvement. Highly proficient in Excel and in assessing how information can be used to support decision making.
A degree in Environmental Science / Engineering would be advantageous along with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, whilst prioritising a varied and demanding workload. An excellent communicator with a pro-active and pragmatic approach to work.
Due to the location a driving licence is preferred.
