**What will you be doing?**
- Operating a Loading Shovel
- Performing pre-use safety checks on items of plant and recording/reporting defects in accordance with safe working procedures
- Maintaining the Loading Shovel to a high standard
- Complying and enforcing company health and safety procedures
- Organising traffic & parking up of company vehicles
- Yard marshall duties that include sweeping, tidying up, moving vehicle (trucks)
- Flexibility to complete occasional overtime to include every Saturday that follows a statutory Bank Holiday

**What are we looking for?**

Essential:

- Valid Loading Shovel licence and previous experience
- CITB operating licence or equivalent (Wheeled loader over 12 tonnes)
- Experience of Shovel, preferably within Waste Management
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
- Good level of understanding and spoken English
- Ability to take direction and the following instructions
- Good time management

Desirable:

- Forklift Truck licence
