Norse Environmental Waste Services (NEWS) operates as the waste management division of Norse Group, delivering comprehensive collection services throughout the region.

As we strive to maintain our high standards in waste and recycling operations across East Anglia, we are seeking a dedicated Recycling Advisor to join our facility.

This role is offered on a permanent part-time basis, requiring 14 hours of work each week, specifically on Tuesday and Wednesday or Friday and Saturday, with working hours from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with a team to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the facility.

This position involves direct interaction with the public, where you will provide guidance on waste disposal and maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

While prior experience in waste management or a related field is advantageous, we are willing to provide comprehensive training for the right candidate, provided you can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Valid UK driving license
