Job Introduction
As a **General Service Assistant **at Sodexo **in Sullom Voe Terminal,** you will play a vital role supporting our catering units assisting with preparation and serving meals whilst ensuring a hygienic environment within the kitchen environment. You will be creating safe and welcome atmosphere for colleagues and clients. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. **What you’ll do**:

- Assist with preparing and serving meals
- Serve customers with hot & cold food during service times
- Assisting with refilling beverages and ensuring menu accompaniments are available prior to service.
- Clearing tables and dishes, assisting with maintaining clean environment in kitchen
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.

**What you bring**:

- Exceptional customer service skills: a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
- Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential, as long as you are willing to learn.
- No previous work experience required.

**We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Sullom Voe Terminal as General Service Assistant This is an exciting opportunity to join us at beautiful Shetland Island**

**Accommodation on Shetland Island while working and Transportation from Aberdeen is included.**
- 73.5 hours per week, 3 weeks working 3 weeks off
- £11.92 per hour
