**Job Title**: Group Personal Training Instructor

**Location**: Based across multiple facilities in Urmston, Timperley and Altrincham

**Salary**: £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

**Hours**:35 hours per week

**The Role**

We're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate fitness instructor to join our growing team, this role will require you to work across all four of our facilities on a variety of shift patterns. Our gyms open from 6am, and we run sessions until 7:30pm Monday to Friday, whilst opening from 7am till 11am on weekends.

There is usually 2 coaches to a session with up to 18 clients in the room.

This role is suited to someone who is passionate about being a coach but struggles with the self-employed element of having to find their own clients and constantly living with peaks and troughs of income.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Develop comprehensive health and fitness programmes for clients.
- Deliver engaging and effective group fitness classes.
- Demonstrate correct form and technique for exercises
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Provide modifications and adaptations for participants with different fitness levels or limitations
- Educate clients on nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Motivate and encourage participants to reach their fitness goals
- Monitor and track client progress, provide feedback and adjust programs as necessary
- Perform fitness assessments using body scanners
- Ensure the safety of participants during classes
- Maintain a clean and organised training environment
- Participate in Monthly inductions for our 6 week programs
- Client follow up
- Strive to create a welcoming and fun environment for all

**Key Requirement**
- Level 3 qualification is essential
- Previous experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer required
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead a group and create a positive and motivating environment
- Ability to encourage clients both on the gym floor and via follow up
- Passion for fitness
