Workshop Operative

A Manufacturing company based in Worcester are searching for a Workshop Operative to join their company on a temporary - permanent basis working Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00. The company themselves design, manufacture and install their products to a range of different sectors.

As a Workshop Operative you will be responsible for:

- Assembling products for a wide range of customers using technical plans.
- Reading drawings accurately to assemble products.
- Assist in the Warehouse by packing and wrapping assembled products.
- There may be an element of electrical assembly to this role.
- Keeping the workshop clean and tidy through the day.

As a Workshop Operative you will be required to:

- Previous experience working in a Production Environment will be essential.
- Previous experience working in Warehousing would be beneficial.
- The ability to read technical drawings will be essential.
- A FLT Licence would be beneficial but not essential.
- Basic electrical skills would be beneficial but not essential.

The role of Workshop Operative will be working on a temporary - permanent basis being paid between £11.00 - £12.98 per hour with the potential of a permanent contract being offered to outstanding employees after the completion of a 12-week period.
