Project Co-ordinator

Due to continued success, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Project Co-ordinator to join the **Project Management** team.
As a Project Co-ordinator, you will have at least 2 years' experience working within a project based technology development environment. You will be familiar with good project management principles and be able to demonstrate effective use of project management tools and has effective communication skills.

Sepura needs a Project Co-ordinator that can:
- Understand a structured project development process and lifecycle
- Take on challenges and see them through to completion with a positive attitude.
- Can coordinate and facilitate effective team communication
- Be self motivated and highly organised in both time and in resources, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Understand project objectives and goals, helping team members organise the resources needed.
- Tracking/driving project activities to completion, identifying/raising risks and issues where they might impact schedule/cost.
- Proficient at tracking and administrating project financials.
- Able to embrace change, look to the next positive step forward and proactively identify and escalate potential issues.
- Ability to convey project information / requests clearly and concisely either written or verbally
- Able to work independently with limited supervision.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and team-player attitude for collaborating effectively with others.
There is no such thing as a typical day here at Sepura. You will be supported by your manager and team, as well as collaborating with other departments across the business. Project co-ordination activities that you will be responsible for include:
- Supporting project and programme managers co-ordinating the delivery of complex projects focusing on hardware development including but not limited to Electronics, Mechanicals, Test Equipment and Manufacturing. An understanding of software processes is also expected with an ability to communicate with varied project stakeholders.
- Contribute to regular project meetings, helping ensure accountability of team members and individuals in the wider business
- Help maintain good team morale and high levels of project efficiency.
- Help manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
- Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring an appropriate escalation of issues
- Work in partnership with the wider business to deliver successful project outcomes.
This job may involve occasional travelling so the successful applicant will have a full, clean driving licence and their own car. Travel expenses will be paid.
**Qualifications**
**Experience and Skills**
- At least two years experience in a project based technology development environment
- Experience managing work packages or smaller standalone projects
- An understanding of electronics, software and mechanical engineering needed to deliver product solutions
- Good communication skills and the ability to solve problems
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
- Experience with planning tools like MS project
- Confidence working with engineering teams.
