Estimator - Cladding / Glazing

We are looking for an Estimator working for an established cladding and glazing company.

Works will include
- Pricing works between £200k and £6m
- Develop client relationships and leads to manufacture new business opportunities
- Good at following up estimate and chasing clients for responses
- Able to issue reports on leads, enquiries, pipeline, likelihood of contract win etc.
- Good at building relationship and integrating with other departments
- Good at building client and supplier relationships
- Understanding of the relevant Building Regulations and Building Safety Act
- Cladding experience
- Rainscreen
- Aluminium
- GRC and similar
- Other metals such as zinc
- Wide range of rainscreen support systems
- Fire barriers
- Insulation - thermal & acoustic properties etc.
- Glazing experience
- Curtain walling
- Knowledge of numerous different systems
- Use of Logikal or similar
- Understanding of components and the like
- Windows
- As above
- Doors
- Types - Glazed, aluminium, steel, automated etc.
- Understanding of SBD/PAS24 requirements
- Integration of automation with security requirements
- Glass properties - Thermal, acoustic, light transmittance, coatings etc.
- Pressed metal such as flashings, cills, copings, cappings, casings etc.
- Roofing experience
- Single ply
- Hot melt
- Green roof

Car allowance: 10% of starting salary

25 days annual leave plus bank holiday

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
