**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The role of the Factory Floor Worker is to Manufacture high quality specialised Leisurewear & Support Wear using a variety of Industrial Sewing Machines, Tooling & Equipment.

The Factory Floor Worker’s duties are to Cut, Manufacture and Quality Control Specialised Leisurewear, Underwear & Support wear to a very high standard, using a variety of Cutting Methods, Industrial Sewing Machines and Measurement Equipment to fulfil customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, to meet the Company’s Quality Standards and achieve Service Level Agreements.

This is essentially a Sewing Machinist Roll with the added responsibility of Cutting and Quality Control.

To maintain Stock Counting Records, reporting any stock issues to Factory Supervisor/Manager. To maintain Production and Quality Control Records as required (ie Quality traceability records/Production outputs).

To ensure products are manufactured to defined quality standards, reporting any quality issues to the relevant person (ie. Factory Manager/Supervisor) and work with colleagues to create corrective actions to rectify any problems.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**
- To Pick & Pack finished goods from stock for customer orders.
- To carry out regular stock checks of Raw Materials & Finished Goods.
- Maintain a high level of production performance by meeting production targets/efficiencies.
- To be responsible for your own health and safety and that of your colleagues, in accordance with the company’s’ Health and Safety policy
- To adhere to the company’s Quality policy and Environmental policy.
- To ensure a high level of housekeeping is achieved and maintained.
- Follow holiday and absence procedures set out by the company.
- Complete any training required in line with the Business needs to maintain high Quality Standards and Productions Performance.
- To ensure Staff Handbook procedures are followed.
- To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required to cover for Annual Leave and Sickness.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- Working hours: 28 hours per week. 8.30am - 15.00pm Mon - Thursday and 8.30am - 12.30pm Friday.
