**Job Purpose**

Provide support to technicians by directly helping with repairs and maintenance-related tasks.

Assisting with stores/yard duties and QC inspections of equipment when required.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Helping workshop technicians with ongoing works.
- Mobilisation and de-mobilisation/off-hire of equipment.
- Hose management, inspection, tidy up and storage of hydraulic umbilical and deck hoses.
- Assisting technicians with spooling winch wire and hose Reeler hoses.
- Assembling of spares packages.
- Helping workshop departments as needed.
- Yard housekeeping and tidy up.
- To always maintain a clean and safe working area.
- To ensure compliance with defined health and safety policies/procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
- To ensure compliance with defined environmental policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
- To ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.
- Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements.

**Experience, Skills and Behaviours**
- Previous experience as a general assistant/skilled labourer would be an advantage
- Great team player
- Work in a fast paced environment with a flexible attitude to working
- Perform practical tasks in the workshop
