Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper and Administrator

Location: Braco, Perthshire. The position is office based and the successful applicant must have a car due to its rural location.

Hours: Initial minimum 24 hours per week (part-time) with full-time hours during harvest (4-6 weeks Oct-Dec).

Feddal is a large commercial Christmas tree farm, specialising in the cultivation and sale of high-quality Christmas trees. With a strong customer base in both the retail and wholesale sectors, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products, we are now seeking an experienced and talented Bookkeeper and Administrator to join our small office.

Job responsibilities
- Sales Ledger and purchase ledger management
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll (2-weekly)
- Customer invoicing and Credit Control
- Financial reporting and Analysis
- PAYE returns and reconciliation.
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Import of goods from EU/ RoW and customs declarations
- Monthly management accounts
- Liaising with external accountants in relation to year-end accounts
- Point of contact for customers
- Additional ad-hoc work to help with the growth and improvement of the company.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar bookkeeping and administrative role
- Confidence and strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and capable of developing in the role.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience of Sage accounting and payroll software.
- Able to set up and alter reasonably complex spreadsheets.
- Strong organisational skills for managing logistics, payments, timesheets, etc. during the busy Christmas tree harvest.

In addition to the bookkeeping and administrative tasks, the successful applicant will also be responsible for assisting the business owners with personal assistant tasks and duties.

Exact hours and salary to be negotiated.
