We are seeking to appoint external Exam Invigilators, who are very flexible on the hours and days worked, so this is a great opportunity to work around other work or caring commitments. You will be required to be at school by 8.30 am for a 9:00 am exam start and/or 1:00 pm for a 1.30pm exam start.

About the role and responsibilities for this role:

- Attend full invigilation training prior to invigilating and update training every year
- Recording details of late arrivals and early leavers and collecting scripts from early leavers
- Checking attendance during examinations
- Collecting and collating scripts at the end of the examination in accordance with strict procedures
- Assisting with the preparation of seating plans as directed by the Examination Officer
- Assisting with setting-up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures

This is a very interesting, vital role for the school and the following qualities are essential:

- Previous experience working as an Examination Invigilator
- Excellent attention to detail and being vigilant at all times
- Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- DBS on a update service is a must
- 2 recent relevant preference
- Having the ability to follow procedures and adhere to strict exam regulations
- Ability to communicate with our students and staff teams
- Being confident in starting and ending exams
- Ability to work confidently and independently
