Sawmill Worker

**Responsibilities**:

- Sort and stack lumber products based on size, grade, and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and meet deadlines
- Operate sawmill equipment, including saws and conveyors to process logs into lumber according to specifications
- Monitor machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Adjust and maintain sawmill machinery for optimum performance, including blade changes and sharpening

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a sawmill or woodworking environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to operate sawmill equipment and machinery effectively (training will be provided)
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free workplace
