**Salary**: £35,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle
**Location**: Remote working - ideal for someone living anywhere within the Northeast of England
GV Engineering offer a wide variety of engineering services which include the manufacture and supply of one-off bespoke items to the creation of multiple consumable parts.
Due to the steady growth of the business, a position for an experienced, passionate and dynamic salesperson is available within our team. This role is vital for business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, developing partnerships and expanding our customer base.

**Purpose of the role**:
You will represent GV Engineering by travelling across the Northeast to promote and sell a variety of our services and products to prospective clients. In this role you will have autonomy to design and deliver your own sales process by harnessing your expertise.
**You will**:
- Lead, develop and monitor a defined sales plan, and engage in activities to increase revenue
- Set sales targets
- Identify and develop relationships with new customers within the Northeast
- Build credibility with customers, acting as an initial, trusted point of contact
- Visit client sites to discuss how we are best placed to suit customer needs
- Rapidly expand our reach and network of businesses
- Secure sales, prepare quotations and proposals
- Negotiate deals and close sales
**About you**:
- Strong performance record in a sales environment, ideally within a field-based sales role
- Ideally have an understanding of sales within an industrial setting
- Have the drive to be a key component of growth across the business
- Be confident in liaising with key stakeholders
- Have excellent communications skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of sales methods and analytical skills
- A dynamic, self-motivated and results driven individual
- Full clean driving licence
