We are committed to looking at ways to develop and improve our maternity services, therefore we are looking for self-motivated, dynamic and professional midwives to join our team.

The key purpose of the role is to provide high quality midwifery care sensitive to the needs of the woman and her family in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods. Community matters to us and we are supported by 400 dedicated volunteers and have strong links with Bradford University, Craven College and Leeds City College to ensure we inspire the workforce of the future.

We want to attract staff who embrace our ‘Right Care’ behaviours of compassion, a commitment to quality of care and working together for patients - we want to make these part of our DNA.

To assess women’s needs, plan, implement and evaluate care on an individual basis.

To maintain contemporaneous, accurate and precise documentation relating to patient care in accordance with NMC rules

To work within national and local guidelines relating to midwifery practice

To act up in the absence of the team leader/manager as required.

To liaise with other professional groups and provide advice as necessary and assist in the provision of a multi-disciplinary approach to care, co-ordinating all aspects of care in the best interests of the mothers and their babies.
