**Lead Commercial Risk & Governance Specialist (Remote)**

The Commercial Excellence team designs and implements commercial processes and platforms to support commercial growth initiatives at Baker Hughes, building continuous partnerships with stakeholders to drive focus on commercial priorities.

Our commercial governance team is responsible for designing, digitizing and overseeing a cross-Baker Hughes commercial risk and governance framework to support the sales process.

We implement critical processes and controls to review and onboard customers and channel partners whilst also ensuring risk mitigation and accurate approvals for deal-specific risks.

As Lead Commercial Risk & Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting the development of an early engagement commercial governance framework to enable the pre-sales process and support Baker Hughes portfolio positioning by identifying key business enablement structures to position Baker Hughes (e.g. MoUs, Consortiums, Alliances, Joint Ventures, etc).
- Developing criteria and approval process for business enablement structure and partner selection.
- Defining partner onboarding process, including risk assessment.
- Developing risk framework and delegation of authority (DOA) architecture to ensure risks related to commercial, finance, HSE, legal, execution, technology are assessed, reviewed, and approved.
- Establishing and managing operating rhythms to enable opportunity identification, review and approval resulting from business enablement structures.
- Supporting the development of a suite of analytics to track associated opportunity pipeline, activities, conversion rates etc.
- Ensuring early engagement commercial governance framework consistency with broader Baker Hughes Risk policy.
- Establishing early engagement commercial governance documentation, success metrics, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure maximized sales effectiveness.
- Leading digitization initiatives for early engagement commercial governance framework in partnership with Digital Technology and Commercial Excellence teams.
- Driving awareness and adoption of early engagement commercial governance framework through change management programs in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Developing early engagement insights for senior stakeholders.
- Conducting internal senior stakeholder interviews to design, develop, implement and enhance governance frameworks.
- Improving existing commercial governance framework covering the Baker Hughes sales process (including policy and procedures, enforcement tools and change management plans) to manage the deal process.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have degree qualification or equivalent experience.
- Have proven experience in designing and implementing risk management and governance frameworks.
- Experience in designing commercial governance frameworks for business enablement structures preferred, e.g. Joint Ventures, Consortiums, Alliances etc.
- Experience in finance, insurance, consulting, or exposure to energy industry, Energy transition, Digital, Industrial preferred.
- Demonstrate business acumen, project management and analytical skills
- Demonstrate experience working with senior stakeholders and an ability to influence all levels of the organization.
- Have excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred.
