**Teaching Assistants needed in Ely**

We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants based in Ely for September 2023 to help support our partner schools. We have roles available from Nursery, Primary, Secondary Schools and Further Education Colleges so we can find the right role to suit you.

We have both part time and full time roles available as well as being able to provide more flexible ad hoc supply as needed.

The role of a Teaching Assistant is a varied one and is a fantastic opportunity for those who are looking to start their path into an Education Career

With full and part time positions available we are looking for educators from a range of backgrounds. Experience working with young people is essential but this does not have to be from within a school setting if you have experience as a Sports Coach, Youth Leader, Drama Groups or anything similar then please do get in touch.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
- Observe students’ behavior and develop classroom discipline
- Create and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment
- Assess students’ skills and progress and submit reports to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers to help improve children’s learning experience
- Track student progress and submit reports to parents
- Follow all safety and health codes and requirements of the school district
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the school district

**Experience**
- Previous experience working with children 3-5 years old preferred (or willing to train)
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education best practices preferred (or willing to learn)
- Working knowledge of the Early Childhood Curriculum preferred (or willing to learn)
- Basic math skills preferred (or willing to learn)
- Ability to work well with others

Contract length: 3 - 12 months
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day
