Working Hours 10am to 3pm

**Role**:
A personable, friendly and highly organised administrator is vital to the running of a successful care home, providing the administrative support that enables the care teams to focus on delivering outstanding care and support to our residents.

The duties of an administrator are very varied, with responsibility for the administration and organisation of the care home and the office.

With support, training and the right skills and attitude, there may be the opportunity to develop to the role into an operational role.

**About you**:
The New Lodge Nursing Home has high standards and it is essential that the person who undertakes this role can work accurately and effectively whilst maintaining a professional standard of work.

**You will be expected to**:
Demonstrate strong administrative skills and have experience of working in a general administrative role covering many aspects.

Be computer literate having experience of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel, and have well-developed customer service skills.

Have an understanding of GDPR and Data Protection Regulations when handling data.

Be highly organised, with good attention to detail and have experience of multi-tasking and be able to work using your own initiative.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Have a polite professional telephone manner.

Handle and reconcile petty cash.

Have some knowledge or be willing to learn basic accounting systems.

Be flexible in your approach to work.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
