Cell Leader

**Job Description Summary**: The Cell Leader will work together with the full team to achieve both local and wider business objectives. You will guide the team on the workload priorities and expectations set at the daily production meeting, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained, and production schedules, goals & targets are met.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coach and develop team members to achieve their full potential including their wellbeing.
- Lead the team to achieve desired levels of efficiency and production.
- Develop a culture of open team communication for information and idea generation within all levels of the business.
- Ensure effective use of available resource and budgets.
- Perform administrative duties in a timely manner including time and attendance, people reviews and personnel development plans.
- Drive EH&S objectives to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
- Encourage and participate in Lean activities to ensure that all data driven improvement activities are explored and implemented.
- Ensure compliance with GE practices and legislation as required.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Experience in a Leadership role in a production environment.
- Relevant experience of methods and production control.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the workforce in a team focused environment.
- Demonstrated people skills in a production environment.
- Ability to motivate, mentor and coach members of the team.
- Demonstrate good judgement, interpersonal skills and initiative.

**Desirable Characteristics**:

- Technical knowledge of operations and practices.
